Instruction
Dru Nagle recently relocated to Pacifica, CA from Wellington, Florida, and offers riding instruction with a special expertise in show jumping. She has over 35 years of experience instructing riders, training horses, and rehabilitating and conditioning Sport and Race Horses. Dru is focused on creating a healthy and wholesome community of riders and horses, emphasizing teamwork and respect. Her motto is, “Safety First, Fun Second; ‘cuz if we are not having Fun, what are we doing it for?”

Facility
The Park Pacifica Riding School is located at Mill-Wood Ranch in Pacifica, CA. Tucked into a protected canyon, The Riding School has access to a large open arena and a smaller covered arena. Horses live in the barn or in outdoor paddocks. The ranch provides access to unparalleled trail riding in San Mateo county, which is good for the soul, as well as for the conditioning of horses. Dru provides individualized care for your horse to optimizes its health, comfort and happiness. A horse that is happy enjoys his job.

We first met Dru in the summer of 2017. We were her first clients in California! My youngest daughter was 6 at the time, obsessed with horses, and wanted to take lessons. We were immediately drawn in to Dru’s personality and sense of humor, and, most importantly, her emphasis on safety. Our favorite days soon became hanging out with Dru at the ranch, so much that my husband took up lessons with her as well! Not to mention when the older kids come home from college to see us, part of the visit is a lesson at the ranch riding with my husband and youngest daughter. We ended up moving to Portola Valley in 2018, but still are loyal to Dru for lessons 2 days a week. We have some great horse facilities locally, but they don’t have a “ Dru”. She is the reason my daughter loves riding , and we love how much she has learned about horses, horse care and safety from Dru.
